How to Clean and Disinfect Floors

Follow these steps to clean, disinfect and deodorize nonporous flooring with Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach:

1. Prep

   For best results, vacuum or sweep the floor before mopping to remove excess dirt and other particles.
2. Mop

   Mop or wipe with a cloth soaked in a disinfecting solution of 8 oz of Clorox® Bleach or Clorox® Scented Bleach in 1 gallon of water.
3. Wait

   To disinfect, leave the solution in contact with the surface for at least 5 minutes.
4. Rinse

   Rinse well and air dry.
